Louis Cano passed from this life on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at age 75 with his family at his side. He was born to Pedro Cano Sr. and Manuela Z. Cano on December 9, 1941 in Austin, Texas. He was a graduate of Johnston High School. He was a 2nd generation cabinet maker. He lived the majority of his life within the East Austin - Zaragosa Park neighborhood community.

He will be missed dearly but live in our hearts forever.

Mr. Cano was preceded in death by brother Jesse Z Cano and his sisters, Trini Cano Guerrero and Herlinda Cano Yanez.

Mr. Cano is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Crescencia "Emma" Cano and his daughter, Carol Cano, and his sons, Louis Cano II, Don Eric Cano and Christopher Cano; his siblings, Janie Lopez, Pete Cano Jr., Gilbert Cano and Eva Rejonis; his precious grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and other loving family and friends. To Emma's family, a special thank you so much for your love.

A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017, at St Julia Catholic Church located on 3010 Lyons Rd, Austin, Texas 78702.
