
Our beloved Antonio 'Tony' Robledo, age 70, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Antonio 'The Professor' Robledo, age 70 passed away on November 13, 2013 with his family by his side. He was born to the late Calletano and Petra Robledo in Webberville, Texas on January 17, 1943. He graduated from Johnston High School in 1962 and married Henrietta Torres December 14, 1963. They lived together in Austin, Texas. Tony worked as a mechanic for Covert Buick for 48 years, finally retiring in 2010. He loved spending time with his family and riding his Harley to Sturgis and numerous other motorcycle rallies around the country with his compadres. He enjoyed swap meets and rebuilding Harleys in his spare time. His kind heart touched many people. He always had a smile ready for anyone and everyone, and was always willing to help those in need. He was a patient man and a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be lovingly remembered by many. He was preceded in death by his parents Calletano and Petra Robledo; siblings Germana Cruz, Felipe Tabera, Santos Robledo and Antonia Tabera. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Henrietta T. Robledo (pictured above); children Master Sgt. Michel (Rebecca) Robledo of El Paso, Carolyn (Rolando) Robledo-Estrada of Austin and Daniel (Irma) Robledo of Austin; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; siblings Julia Ybarbo, Felicita Vega, Esperanza Quiroz, Erlinda Gonzales, David Robledo and Louisa Gomez; numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Edward Robledo, Santos Alexander Robledo, Lorenzo Antonio Robledo, Rolando Estrada, Larry Mendez and John Cruz. Honorary pallbearers will be James Gabriel Estrada, Savina Rae'lyn Robledo and Monica Roxanne Robledo. Recitation of rosary 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First St. (South). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church.
