Mr Florentino Alcala, 54, of Austin passed away Wednesday, Sep 16, 1998.  Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:30 pm, Friday at the Angel Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 4:00 pm, Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Bill Elliott, O.M.I. officiating.  Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.

Mr Alcala was preceded in death by his father, Jose Alcala St; mother, Juanita Alcala; and a brother, Santos Bandera.  He is survived by his wife, Palmira (Pam) Alcala; sons, Steven Alcala and wife, Julie.  Richard Flores and wife, Irene, all of Austin.  Ronnie Flores of San Antonio;daughters, Mary Lou Aleman and husband, Bob.  Denise Pena and husband, Edward, all of Austin.  sisters; Julia De La Cruz and husband, Lalo, of Kyle, Linda Celedon and husband, Manuel, of Houston. Elvira Ramo, of Ft. Worth;brothers, Paul Alcala and wife, Mary, Manuel Alcala and wife, Janie. Joe Alcala Jr and wife Henrieta, John Alcala and wife, Maria, all of Austin, Daniel Alacala, of Pflugerville; nine grandsons and five granddaughters.

Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Flores, Adam Alcala, Daniel Alcala Jr., Michael Celedon, Renee Alcala and Thomas Alcala.  Arrangements by Samuel DeLeon & Son/Angel Funeral Home, 1600 S First St., Austin, Tx.
