Malcolm Haverland

Malcolm Ray Haverland, 46, of Austin died in a local hospital, Saturday, December 8, 1990.  He was born January 27,1944, in Benham, Texas.  He was preceded in death by his father, Fritz Haverland;and his father-in-law, M.W.Borders.  Malcolm had been employed as a mechanic with Fritche Automotive, McMorris Ford, and Hyster, prior to going into business for himself as owner and operator of the Malcolm Haverland Towing Company.  He was an active member of the Austin Towing Association.  He was an active member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church.  Survivors include his wife, Rosa Haverland of Austin; a stepson, Allen Eastmand of Austin; his mother, Dora Haverland of Austin; his mother-in-law, Pansy Borders of Austin;brothers and siters-in-law, Jarvis and Lois Haverland, Roger and Katheryn Haverland, and Orville Haverland, all of Austin; brother-in-law and wife, James and Renee Borders;sister-in-law and husband,P.J. and Kenneth Fritche of Austin;nephews and nieces, Karl, William and Kristopher Haverland, Jacob and Jarod Borders, Jason and Amanda Fritche, all of Austin.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Tuesday, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, with Pastor Fred W. Neumann officiating.  Interment will be in Capital memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be James Ethredge, Jesse Ethredge, Claue Hollan, Franklin Halm, Melvin Wrubel, Denver Kokel, Lee Machin and M.C.Hickman.  It is requested that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Fund or the St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fun.  Arrangements by Hyltin-Manor Funeral Chapel, 3000 No. IH-35 at 30th St.
