Mary R. Herrera

1943 - 2018

Our Beloved Mary R. Herrera, age 74, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, June 29, 2018 in Kyle, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents Damacio Renteria and Frances Ledesma Renteria and siblings Margaret Alvarez, Anita Gonzales, and Beatrice Gonzales.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Sam and Ana Maria Herrera; daughter Lucy Herrera; grandchildren Gabriel Herrera and Elizabeth Herrera; siblings Lori Hall, Edward Renteria, and Rebecca Gonzales; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. –  1:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 South First Street;  Austin, Texas 78745.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday July 5, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
