Edward G. Varela

Edward B. Varela, 27, of 2317 Willow St., died Saturday.  He was a member of Christo Rey Catholic Church and was a Veteran of Vietnam.

A Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at Angel Funeral Home.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Christo Rey Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Daniel Villanueva officiation  Burial with military honors under the auspices of the U.S.Marine Reserve Training Center will be in Assumption Cemetery.  

Arrangements are under direction of Angel Funeral Home.

Varela is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Varela and Renee Varela, both of Houson; two sons; John Patrick Varela, of Houston and Lawrence Edward Varela, of Austin; the  parents Mr. and Mrs. Arnulfo Varela; two sisters, Miss Juanita Varela and Mrs. Susana V. Gamez; an a brother, Arnulfo Varela, Jr., all of Austin.
