
Rosendo H. De Leon
March 1, 1945 - July 10, 2015
Rosendo H. De Leon aka "Roe" was born March 1, 1945 to Refugia and Felipe De Leon and was one of eight siblings, he was very close to his sister Luisa Mendoza of Austin.
He served his country in battle during the Vietnam War with the U.S Army 1st Infantry (Big Red 1). He was a true Soldier in every sense, he exuded strength. He was very funny, intelligent and his grandkids and great grandkids were his entire world.
He passed away at age 70 July 10, 2015 surrounded by family that adored him in the comfort of his own home as he deeply desired.
He is survived by daughter and son in law Diane and Joe Perez, 4 grandchildren and grandson in law (Ashley and Jonathan Gutierrez, Joey, Nick and Madison Perez) 2 great grandchildren (Noah Gutierrez and Natalie Perez).
Visitation will be Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the Harrell Funeral Home, Kyle with a Wake at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Monday, July 20, 2015 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Kyle.
