Our beloved Ernesto ?Barney? Gamboa, age 65, of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 5, 2009. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp, and retired from the City of Austin. He was preceded in death by his parents Carlos and Micaela Gamboa, brother, Charlie (Chaleo) Gamboa, and sister, Yolanda Samaniego.

He is survived by his siblings, Arthur Joe Gamboa, Tom Gamboa, Margaret Guerrero, Mario Gamboa, and Chaleo Gamboa. Prayer service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home, Remembrance Chapel (east). Funeral service will be Friday 10:00 a.m. at Mission Funeral Home Remembrance Chapel. Interment will follow at Cook Walden/Capital Memorial Park Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.

Pallbearers will be family and a friend.
