Juan "Johnny" Ramos Juan Ramos, age 66, of Austin passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2012. He was born on Monday, April 22, 1946 to Francisco and Herlinda Ramos in Austin, Texas. Juan served with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Austin and the USS Wood County. He retired from TX Dot August 2003 and enjoyed cruises with his wife and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Frank and Manuel Ramos. Juan is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Ramos; daughter Christine Velasquez and husband Mario; son, John Steven Ramos; grandchildren, Isabel, Marisol, Mario Cruz; sisters, Frances Euresti, Josie Alvarez (Paul); brothers, Jesse Ramos (Liz), Ernest Ramos. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 17, 2012 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
