Pedro "Pete" Balandran

December 17, 1945 - December 12, 2010

Pete "Pilo" Balandran, 64, passed away on December 12, 2010 at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Lockhart, on December 17, 1945 to Candelario Balandran and Trinidad Zapata.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and brother Jesse Balandran.

Pete is survived by his wife of 41 years, Angie Rivas Balandran, daughter Rachel Hanna (Sam), son Jeff (Amanda), three granddaughters Samantha, Leah, Carmen and sister Mary Balandran from Austin, numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Pete had a talent for art and enjoyed showing and talking about his art work. He was a good hard working person and enjoyed whatever job he was into.

A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Funeral mass was on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at St. Marys Catholic Church with Father Robert Becker. Interment followed to St. Marys Cemetery.
