Wiley Guerrero. July 16, 1948 - November 12, 1967. Died at the age of 19.  Served in Kontum, South Vietnam.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Mission Funeral Home for an Austin solider killed in Vietnam.  Pfc. Wiley Guerrero of 2703 East 3rd, was killed at Dak To Nov. 12, according to the Department of Defense.  He was a paratrooper in the 173rd Airborne Brigade.  Guerrero was a member of St. Julia's Catholic Church and a graduate of Albert Sidney Johnston High School.  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Janie C. Guerrero, Austin; a daughter, Terry Ann Guerrero, Austin;a son, David Guerrero, Austin;his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edio Guerrero, Austin;a brother, Ronnie De La Rosa, Austin;three sisters, Mrs. Mary L. Roman, Mrs. Lupe Gomez and Miss Carla De La Rosa., Austin.  Burial Assumption Cemetery.
