(06/15/2003) Ermalinda Cruz-Torres December 1, 1949 - June 13, 2003 Mrs. Ermalinda Cruz-Torres, 53, of Austin, passed away Friday, June 13, 2003. Prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at the Angel Funeral Home. She will lie in state from 9:30 a.m., Monday at Iglesia Bethania Baptist Church, 1117 Tillery, until service time at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Hornsby Bend Cemetery. Mrs. Cruz-Torres is survived by her husband, Jose Torres Martinez; daughters, Dolores R. Moncada, Lisa M. Castillo, Felipa Cruz; son, John A. Castillo, Jr.; sister, Hope Esquivel, all of Austin; brothers, Ernest Cruz and wife, Marie of Round Rock, Frank Cruz, Sr. and wife, Diane, and Manuel Cruz, all of Austin; and ten grandchildren.
