Pioquento R Martinez, Jr - Class Of 1967

Our beloved son, brother, father, grandfather and uncle, Pioquento R. Martinez Jr. passed away on June 26, 2004. He was born on November 5, 1949, to Pioquento R. and Consuelo H. Martinez in Austin, Texas. Pioquento graduated from Johnston High School, and attended the University of Texas. He served as a deputy for the Ottawa County Sheriff's Dept. in Michigan and served as a Lieutenant with the Travis County Sheriff's Dept. His survivors include his daughters, Michelle and Christine; their mother, Judy; and seven grandchildren. Other survivors include brothers and sisters, Alejandro (Cruzita), Joe (Cyndi), Julian (Diana), Ramon (Cherri), Ricardo (Silva), Silverio (Blanch), Salvador (Janie), Consuelo (Jose), Michael (Grace) and Cynthia (Greg). Serving as pallbearers will be Pioquento J., Joe Jr., Adam, Antonio, Marco, Robert, Jaime, Ryan and Jennifer. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at Harrell Funeral Home in Austin with recitation of rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 1, 2004, at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Drive in Austin. His lifelong pleasure was his love of family and his grand kids. His companionship will be missed by all of us that loved him.
