Sp. 5 Charles Scott, Jr.,20 11/1/1948-8/24/1970), died Monday in Richmond Va. Survivors include his wife, Mrs JoAnn Scott of Spring Lake, N.C; mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Yarborough of Austin; four sisters, Mae Ola Wright, Gertrude Scott, Betty and Sephia Yarborough all of Austin; four brothers, Sp. 5 Walter Scott of Okinawa; Larry, Clarence and Monroe Yarborough all of Austin; grandmother Mrs. E. Dorsey of Austin. Funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church. Rev. Joe Dixon will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Fuller Sheffield Funeral Service, Inc.
