ROBERT L. GARRETT, JR.
JUNE 13, 1949 - JUNE 22, 2001

Robert Louis Garrett Jr., was born June 13, 1949, in Austin, Texas, to the late Robert Louis Garrett Sr. and Mrs. Ada Mae Lucas.  Robert is a 1968 graduate of A.S. Johnston High and obtained his B.A. in Afro-American studies from UT-Austin.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ada M. Lucas; two sisters, Rosie N Garrett, Nell L Key; and two brothers, Roy Lee Garrett and Arnold Dwayne Garrett.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 28, 2001, at 12:00 p.m. at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
