Obituary of Antonio Limon

Our beloved Antonio “Tony” H. Limon, age 67, was called home to our Heavenly Father, on Wednesday, July 19, 2017.  He passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward “Lalo” Limon and Elpidia Herrera Limon; his grandparents, Manuel Limon, Sr. and Faustina Arevalo Limon, and his sister-in-law, Margaret Limon.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Mary Alice Ramirez Limon; his loving children, Yvetta Limon, Laurie (Rudy) Esparza, and Leslie Limon; his precious grandchildren, Lauren Trevino, Cierra Esparza, Elayna Esparza, Natalia Esparza, and Nathaniel Limon; his great-grandchildren, Nicolas Cortez, Ayden Mexquitic, and Aaliyah Cruz; his siblings, Raymond Limon, Edward (Dorothy) Limon, Jr., Jim (Agnes) Limon, Julia (Florencio) Lopez, and Ramona (Ramon) Macias; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Limon, Eric Aleman, Paul Medel, Martin Limon, Rudy Esparza, and Sam Casares.  Honorary Pallbearers will be John Limon, Speedy Gonzales, Jesse Colunga, Sonny Fernandez, Reymond Limon, Edward Limon, Jim Limon, and Nathaniel Limon.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, July 27, 2017, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 28, 2017, St. Julia Catholic Church, Tillery & Lyon St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
