HERRERA, Maria Machuca

Our beloved Mother Maria Machuca Herrera, age 64, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 11, 2014.

Maria worked for the City of Austin for over 20 years until she retired. She was loved and will be missed by her many family members and friends. Maria was one of a kind and will be remembered for having a loving heart.

She was preceded in death by father Ricardo Machuca and son Angelito Herrera.

Maria Herrera is survived by her loving mother Catarina Machuca; children Sam Herrera, Jennifer Herrera, Lita (Adelita) Herrera and Ricardo Herrera; 8 grandchildren; 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

Visitation 1:00 p.m., Monday at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street (South).

Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Monday at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. 

This will conclude services for Ms. Herrera.
