Our beloved Brother, Father, Uncle, and Grandfather, Carmen (Carmelo) A. Martinez was called home by our Heavenly Father on April 13, 2015. 
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Felicita "Sally" Martinez, Son Carlos Martinez & Wife Priscilla, Daughter Tracy Martinez & husband Joe, all from Lockhart, Sisters Sara Alvarez from Lockhart, Angelita Hernandez & husband Lupe from Dallas, Janie Sanchez from Dallas, Nicolasa Cervantes & husband Adan from California, Maria Rodriguez from Del Valle, Berta Alicia "Alice" Morales & husband Javier from Kyle, Eva Tinajero & husband Julian from Edinburg, and Brenda Munoz & husband Juan from Dale, one Brother Vicente Martinez from California, two Aunts, numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins, and his pride and joy; Grandson Issac Castellanos & Granddaughter Arianna Martinez. 
He was preceded in death by his parents Santos P. Martinez & Nicolasa A. Martinez, Brother Jimmy A. Martinez, and Sister Paz Sanchez from Bronte. 
Serving as Pallbearers are Son Carlos Martinez, Son-in-law Joe Vargas, and Nephew's John Munoz, Michael Alvarez, Mario Elizondo, & Chris Gonzales. 
Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm, Thursday, April 16, 2015 with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm., DeLeon Funeral Home 111 E. Cedar St. Lockhart, TX 78644. 
Mass of Christian burial 10:00 am, Friday, April 17, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church 205 W. Pecan Lockhart, TX 78644.Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Lockhart,TX.
