Mr. Pete Renteria Aug. 4, 1949 - Jan. 30, 2010 Mr. Pete Renteria, 60, of Austin, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010. He is survived by his partner of 17 years, Frances A. Renteria. Also survived by his three step-children, seven step-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Hoenicke, Dr. Wells, and the many nurses of Seton Medical Center ICU. Also a special thank you to the priest and chaplains of Seton for their kind words and prayers. Recitation of the rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Angel Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at St. Julia Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Elgin City Cemetery.
