Arthur Perez Tellez 1949 - 2007 Arthur Perez Tellez, age 58, was called to his eternal home by our Savior on Thursday, December 20, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer. Arthur passed away surrounded by his loved ones. Our beloved husband and father was born October 21, 1949, in Austin, Texas. Arthur was the first college graduate of his family earning his degree from St. Edward's University in 1974. He remained in Houston, Tex., with his family the rest of his days. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Stella Tellez; daughters, Jennifer (28) and Natalie Tellez (24), and son Jacob Tellez (10) of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by his mother, Nellie Perez Tellez; brother, Gilbert Tellez and wife Carolyn; brother, Michael Tellez of Austin, Tex.; and many nieces and nephews. Arthur was preceded in death by his father, Sipriano M. Tellez. He was a dedicated husband and father and always willing to help others. He will forever be in our hearts and dearly missed. Recitation of the Rosary will be held Sunday, December 23, 2007, at 6:00 p.m., in the chapel of Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (South). Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, December 24, 2007, at 10:00 a.m., at St Julia Catholic Church, 900 Tillery, Austin, Texas. Rite of Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
