Clarence Thomas, Jr., was born on August 8, 1949, to Doris Black Thomas and Clarence Thomas, Sr., in Bastrop, Texas.

He graduated from Johnston High School in Austin, Texas, in 1967. After graduating high school, he went on to serve in the United States Army in 1969. He served faithfully until being honorably discharged.

Clarence was a loving son, father, brother, and uncle who accepted Christ at an early age. His fighting spirit and strength endured throughout his battle with his illness.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Doris Black Thomas and Clarence Thomas, Sr.; his sister, Mary Helen Thomas Hill; and his niece, Marilyn Thomas.

Clarence leaves to cherish his memories: his special friend for many years, Pam Thomas; two daughters, Tanya Jefferson and Catina Jefferson; one son, Adrian Bolden; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; three nieces, Jennifer Hill, Cynthia Hill and Anita Hill; nephew, James Thomas; and his favorite cousin, Gloria Haywood, all of Austin Texas; in addition to a host of other relatives and friends.
