Delia (Dee) Hernandez Our beloved Delia (Dee) Hernandez, age 59, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on April 05, 2010. Delia worked for the City of Austin for over 30 years and served on the Employees' Retirement System Board. She was deeply loved by her family and friends. Her compassion, kindness and gentle being will be sadly missed by all those that were touched by her life. She is survived by her husband Pete Hernandez Sr., sons Richard and Kris Hernandez, Pete Jr. and Michelle Hernandez, daughters Stephanie D. Hernandez and Patricia L. Hernandez and Shawn Gutierrez , grandchildren Sophia, Noelle and James. Sisters Linda Rodriguez, Jodi Eller, Rosie Villarreal, Beatrice Barnes, Diane Tristan, Dora Ann Weaner, brothers Jesse Tristan, Jose Anthony Tristan and Michael Tristan. She was preceded in death by her parents Jose Tristan Jr and Dora O. Tristan and brother Robert O. Tristan. Pallbearers will be Lonnie Hernandez, Jason Hernandez, James Rodriguez, Norman (Trey) Weaner, Adam Tristan, Christopher Tristan. Honorary Pallbears Jeffrey Loera, Joe Loera. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to Special Olympics. Recitation of Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday at St. Paul Catholic Church 10,000 David Moore Road, Rev Barry Cabell, CSC will officiate. Internment will follow at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Cemetery 6300 W. William Cannon Dr.
