Robert Doyle - Class Of 1970

Robert Lynn Doyle was born in Austin, Texas to Edward and Rosa Doyle on November 20, 1951.

Robert was a graduate of Johnston High School. He spent eleven years in the Armed Services and twenty-six years with City of Austin, Street and Bridge Department.

He was united in holy matrimony to Camera Joyce Johnson on February 16, 1971.

Robert answered the call of God to preach the Gospel on March 4, 1990 at True Light Missionary Baptist Church.

As one of the organizers of the Greater Works Baptist Church where he served as associated minister, Robert loved the Lord and loved his church.

His favorite pass time was traveling as much as his health would allow. He loved to fish and tinkle with cars and heavy equipment. There wasn’t much he couldn’t fix!
