Our beloved David Segura Flores, age 62, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 2, 2014. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Andres and Louisa Flores. 

David was a wonderful and loving husband, father, "Popo" and friend and he will be dearly missed by many. He was employed by Capital Metro for 28 years. 

Mr. Flores is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Alice Flores; children Laurie Ramirez (James), Celeste Diaz, Christina Diaz; grandchildren Evan Ortiz, Alyssa Rios, Ethan Ortiz; siblings Chencho Flores, Frank Flores, Andrew Flores, Yolanda Barbosa, Benny Flores, Jesse Flores, Enrique Flores, Sammy Flores, Julia Candelas, Cecila Flores and Margaret Flores; numerous nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much. 

Pallbearers will be his longtime childhood friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandchildren and his nephew Amador Candelas, who was always by his side.

Recitation of rosary 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First St. (South). 

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Friday at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
