Margaret "Margie" B. Gonzales, 67, of Austin, Texas, passed away Tuesday evening, August 18, 2020.  She was born to Santos Bocanegra and Antonia Delgado Bocanegra in Taylor, Texas on June 26, 1953.  She grew up and attended schools in Austin.  She loved a game of pool and enjoyed hanging out with family and friends.

She is survived by her four children, Rudy Samarripa, Khristel and husband Louie Trujillo, Monica and husband Roger Urias, and Chris Gonzales and wife Debra; eight grandchildren, Charisma, Chelsea, John Anthony, Jackie, Nito, Erik, Nikolas, and Trae, three great-grandchildren; her brother, Santos Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.  Our mother was a wonderful and special person and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She lived a long and wonderful life and now she is resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior.

The family will receive guests on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Elgin Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 10:00 AM.  A graveside service will be conducted following the visitation at 11:00 AM at the Elgin Latin Cemetery with Father George officiating.
