(11/15/2002)In Loving Memory of Fred Degollado Feb. 10, 1954 - Nov.13, 2002 Mr. Fred Degollado, loving father, brother, and son, 48, of Austin, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2002. Recitation of the rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Angel Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at San Jose Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Mr. Degollado is survived by his wife, Rachel Degollado; son, John Degollado, both of Austin; father, Rosalio Degollado, of Austin; mother, Jessica Garcia and husband, Feliciano, both of Bastrop; sisters, Rose Marie Vargas, Josie Degollado, Pauline Cantu, all of Austin; brothers, Charlie Degollado, of Pflugerville, Arthur Degollado, of Bastrop. three nieces and six nephews. Fred always left you smiling. He was loved by all who knew him. He retired from the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department after 23 years of service. Fred will be dearly missed and never forgotten. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mr. Degollado's son, John Degollado, for his education, or to Texas Casa Incorporated.
