We are to celebrate the life of a compassionate and dedicated Pastor, Amado Castillo, Jr., who was born on January 31, 1956, in Austin, Texas. Amado was a vibrant spirit who brought joy and light into the lives of all who knew him. His zest for life was infectious, and his spirited nature was evident in everything he did. As the beloved Pastor of Palabra de Vida Ministries, he served with unwavering dedication for over 30 years. His deep-rooted faith and love for his community were the bedrock of his life's work. Amado made everyone he met feel loved, valued, and cherished. Amado was a loving husband to his wife, Estella Castillo, and a devoted father to his children Cynthia Luna, David III, and Amado III. He was a brother to his siblings Sebastian Castillo, Ester Castillo, Stella Paredes, Barbara Vasquez, Connie Castillo, and Olivia Castillo. Amado's life was a testament to his love for his family, his dedication to his ministry, and his passion for serving others. His days were filled with acts of kindness, words of wisdom, and unconditional love. Amado's life was indeed a life lived for others. Amado was preceded in death by his parents, Amado Sr., and Juanita Castillo. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him and those whose lives he touched with his compassionate nature. Visitation Services will be held on Thursday, 30 of May 2024 from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 South 1st Street, Austin, Texas, 78745. Funeral Service will follow on Friday, 31st of May 2024 at 11:00am at Mission Funeral Home - Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. 1st, Austin Texas 78745. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 South Interstate 35 Frontage Road, Austin, Texas, 78704. Each memory shared will serve as a testament to his impactful life and will keep his spirit alive in our hearts. Let us remember Amado not merely for the life that he lived but for the lives he touched and the love he shared.
