THOMAS-KAYEMBE, , PAMELA Sun Rise: July 25, 1959 Sunset: May 24, 2006 Pamela Thomas-Kayembe, age 46, beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend, passed from this life to the next on May 24, 2006, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on July 25, 1959, in Austin, Texas. She attended A. S. Johnston High School in Austin, Texas. She was residing in De Soto, Texas and was employed by First American Real Estate Tax Service. Pam received Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of The Potters House in Dallas, Texas. Pam had a unique gift of kindness~a way of being sensitive and sweet~thoughtful, compassionate and genuinely concerned for others, especially Jeffre and her family, friends and co-workers. She had a gift of caring ~ giving of herself, her time, her energy and her resources. She had a special gift of love towards her family and did all to keep family ties strong and secure. She was to family and friends, a treasure given by God and her smile and presence will be greatly missed, but her spirit remains FOREVER STRONG in our hearts until we see her again. We are heart broken, but not distressed. Like Pam, we have a Hope in Jesus Christ! She leaves to cherish her memory, one devoted son, Jeffre Quinn, De Soto, Texas; mother, Lillie Fletcher, Austin, Texas; father, Walter Smith, Rockwell, Iowa; four brothers: Tommie Thomas, Athens, Texas; Mike Thomas, Charles Fletcher, Kevin Fletcher, all of Austin, Texas; four sisters: Deborah Batts, Cynthia Burdett, Patricia Cannon and Sharon Gordon, all of Austin, Texas; several nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives, and a host of special friends and co-workers. Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at Greater Works Baptist Church, 4000 Tannehill Lane, Austin, with Reverend Leonard James officiating.
