John was born September 25, 1960 to Pedro S. Ramirez and Eva Moreno in Austin, Texas. He attended Johnston High School and was proud to be a Johnston Rams football player and graduated with the Class of 1979. John worked as a commercial printer for over 30 years and was loved by many. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro S. Ramirez and Eva Moreno, and his brother, Manuel Orona.
John is survived by his wife of 33 years, Janice Salinas Ramirez; two beautiful daughters, Jamison Leigh and Jenna Rae; siblings, Mary Trujillo (Ben), Mike Moreno (Barbara✝), Gloria Wilkerson (Bill), Patsy Valencia (Jose), Irene Mingle (Bill), and Marc Salinas (Deborah). John also leaves countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren, and a host of other loving family and friends, which he adored to cherish his memory. He loved his whole family unconditionally.
He liked to think of himself as the "Godfather" and could quote you many lines. John, aka Juanio loved fishing and enjoyed listening to music and dancing. So please know that John is Dancing in the Sky.
