June 23, 1957 - February 6, 2022

Our beloved Daniel Camacho, Jr. (Dan) left this world to be with our Lord on February 6, 2022. He was born to the late Daniel R. Camacho Sr. and Margaret Garcia Camacho in Georgetown, Texas.



Dan is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Concepcion and Espiridiona Camacho and Alejandro Garcia, nephew David Anthony Camacho, brother-in-law Rick Lucio.



Dan is survived by his wife Adelina (43 years), son Daniel Camacho III, daughter Samantha Jean Camacho (Joseph), and grandchildren who were his pride and joy: Savanna Jean Camacho, Catalina Marie Camacho, Tatiyana Arielle Camacho, Adaline Esperanza Camacho and Daniel Cash Camacho IV. Siblings Dolores Camacho-Phillips (Herbert), Diane Walters (Lee), David Camacho (Christina), Alex Camacho (Vanessa), Joe Camacho (Rebecca) and Debbie Lucio (Edi), as well as sixteen nieces and nephews and twenty-seven great-nieces and great-nephews.



Dan served his county honorably in the United States Army and Army Reserves for 10 years. He was an avid Harley-Davidson Biker and car enthusiast. Dan was a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Austin, TX; where he played an active role in the Guadalupana’s and Sacred Heart Sodalities.



Dan’s passion for his faith and love of God showed tremendously through his stewardship and commitment to his community. He was a loving, caring, and generous man who will be greatly missed not only by his adoring family, loving cousins, and close friends but by his church family, his Cursillo family, and his ACTS Brothers.



Visitation will be held on February 23, 2022, at 5:00 pm followed by the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Mission Funeral Home, 1615 East Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas 78702.



Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 1206 E. 9th Street, Austin, Texas 78702.
