John Albert Mendoza died at the age of 17 in an auto accident.  Survived by his parents, Mr. and mrs. Juan Mendoza;four sisters, Mrs. Mary Esther Quintero, Mrs. Refugia Carmona, Mrs. Alicia Castillo and Rachel Mendoza, all of Austin;four brothers, Arturo Mendoza of Austin, Robert Mendoza of Chicago, Edward Mendoza and David Mendoza, both of Holland, Mich; He was a member of the AS Johnston HS band and football team.
