John Albert Rios John Albert Rios, age 30, lifelong resident of Austin, passed away August 24, 2005. John was a graduate of Johnston High School and a Senior Firefighter with Travis County Fire Control ESD 4. Preceded in death maternal grandparents, John Gatica, Sr. and Frances Gatica; paternal grandparents, Adolf Trevino II, and Bertha Trevino; great-grandparents, Catarino Rios, Sr., and Josephine Rios, Abraham Samilpa and Georgia Medrano Perez. He is survived by his daughters, Amanda Evelyn Rios, Marissa Isabella Rios, and their mother, Christine Rendon; fiancé, Deandra Guerrero and her son Justin; parents, Albert and Gloria Rios; sister, Laura Yvonne Rios; brother, Armando Merced Rios; niece, Alize Maleigha Rios-Castillo; many loving uncles and aunts. Special thanks to Dr. Lamatier and staff at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 26, at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Drive, with Reverend Edwin Kadzielawski, C.S.C., officiating and interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
