Our beloved Virginia Cantu Medina, age 73, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday, April 20, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian Cantu Sr. and Eva Cordova Cantu, and her siblings, Evangelina, Miguel, Arturo, Alfred & Adam Cantu. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Rafael Medina; son, Julius Maciel III and wife Kathie; stepsons, Anthony and wife Sylvia, Timothy and wife Kimberly, and Abraham Medina; brothers Julian Jr. Cantu and wife Rose, Arnold and Arthur Cantu Sr.; sisters, Leonora Ruiz, Lena C. Ybarra, Emaline Gil and husband Ron; nephews, Julian Cantu III, Mark Cantu and wife Margaret and Arthur Cantu Jr.; nieces, Sandra Alvarez and husband Eddie, Cynthia Baggett and husband Joseph Sr., Yvette Ybarra, Katherine Cantu-Winkelbauer and husband Rich, Mary Ann Cantu, Lori Ruiz Freeman, Gina Cantu, Lyndsey Rodriguez and fiance Aaron Lord, Amanda Lynn Justice and husband Sean, Marina Flores and husband Roman, Judy O'jeda Parks; grandchildren, Dylan and Jordan Maciel, and Amanda, Alissa, and Timothy M. Medina; 27 great nephews and nieces; 13 great-great nephews and nieces; and other loving cousins and friends. Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin, Public services will NOT be held. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2020.
