Rudy Lopez. July 16, 1947 - May 10, 1968.  Died at the age of 20.  Served at Quang Tin, South Vietnam.

Pfc. Rudy Lopez, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Calderon of 410 West Anniete St., died Sunday from burns received in combat during the recent battle of Saigon.  Funeral arrangements are pending at Mission Funeral Home.  Lopez, a 1967 graduate of Johnston High School, sustained burns over 65 per cent of his body last Thursday.  He had been in critical condition until his death.  Lopez entered the Army shortly after graduating from Johnston.  He was a member of the 25th Infantry Division.Burial Assumption Cemetery, Austin, Tx.
