Stanley Dean Roberts, born March 21, 1950, died Friday, January 26, 2007 at Georgetown Medical Center after a long struggle with diabetes and its complications. Relatives and friends are welcome at the Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos Parker Blvd. NW, Taylor, Texas on Tuesday, January 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services for Stanley D. Roberts will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at San Gabriel Cemetery in Liberty Hill, Texas. Stanley is survived by his wife, Anita, by his son Daron and wife Lisa Roberts, and his daughter Tammy and husband Eric Rabago, along with his granddaughter Brittany Roberts and unborn grandchild ("Peanut"). Three brothers, Freddie, Neal, and Glenn Roberts, two sisters, Wanda Gruska and Marybeth Borth, also survive Stanley. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends further survive him. In addition to his parents, one brother, David Roberts, preceded him in death. The family would like to thank Dr. Thomas Bohmfalk and his nurse, Susie for their care and support.
