She worked for many years for Roy’s Taxi Cab Company as a dispatcher and received her Associates Degree from Virginia College in 2012. Connie was also a proud daughter, mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her stepfather, Aurelio “Earl” Gonzales and grandparents, Roy, Sr. and Elisa Velasquez.

Connie is survived by her mother, Rosie Gonzales; her daughters, Nicole Morales (Eddie Costilla), Claudia Rodriquez (Adrian Rodriquez); grandsons, Vincent Earl DePaz and Adrian Rodriquez, Jr. (due September 2019); and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Connie truly lived life to the fullest by spending time with her family and friends, making every effort to attend family celebrations, and calling on her family every week. Her smile and infectious laugh will be greatly missed by all.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Michael Warner and the Cardiovascular Recovery Unit nurses and staff at South Austin Hospital for the exceptional care and counseling.

Funeral Mass 11:00 am Friday, June 21, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
