" Bacilio "Chilo" Soto Bacilio "Chilo" Soto, age 48, returned to God on January 13, 2002. Chilo was born in Austin on December 7, 1953, to Josephine and Tiburcio Soto Sr. Chilo had one son, Patrick Soto. Preceding Chilo in death was his father,' Tiburcio; and younger brother, George Soto. Chilo is survived by his brother Tiburcio Soto Jr.; and sisters, Ann Murillo, JoAnn Broom, and Cindy Soto. Chilo will be remembered for his strong religious beliefs and love for his family. Memorial services will be Wednesday, January 16, at 7:30 p.m. at Angel Funeral Home. A Remembrance service will be held Thursday, January 17, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chilo's nephews, Christopher Quiroz, Greg Soto, Craig Soto, Tiburcio Soto III, Benny Palacios, and Roland Palacios. Honorary pallbearer, Jason Vargas. The family wishes to express our gratitude to the caregivers from Hospice Austin for their assistance during Chilo's illness. Special thanks to Chilo's stepfather, Julian Guardado and nephew, Christopher Quiroz for helping in Chilo's time of need.
