Aaron Eugene McKinley, Sr.

May 23, 1966 - February 14, 2022

Aaron McKinley, affectionally known as Plunka, of Austin, Texas, was the youngest child born to the late Henry and Mary McKinley on May 23, 1966.

Aaron attended public schools and graduated from Johnston High school where he played football. Aaron had a love for the Lord and reading his Bible and was baptized by Rev. G.V. Clark. In 1989, he met Ola Hardison and they were married. To this union two sons were born: Aaron Jr. and Joshua; later, he married Tallulah. Aaron had a kind heart and loved his family.

Aaron is preceded in death by his father and mother; his brother, Wayne Roberts; grandparents, Cora and Ellis Roberts, Greeley Sr. and Alma McKinley; uncles, Ellis Roberts III and Greeley McKinley, Jr. He leaves to cherish in his memory, his sons, Aaron McKinley, Jr. and Joshua McKinley; aunts, Patricia Roberts Whitley, Willie Jean Fisher, Elise Justice, Florence Cabin, Cheryl Alexander (Jerald), and Paula East; uncles, Edward Roberts and Donald Aytes (Gail); grandkids; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
