Robert Baldazo Ledesma (Rob), age 71, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Rob was known for his humorous and charismatic ways. He was a dedicated husband, father, and his first priority in life was his family.

Rob is preceded in death by parents; Alvino Ledesma and Rafelita Ledesma. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Julia Corpus Ledesma, children; Lisa Garcia (Mario), Robert C. Ledesma (Brenda), Lorie Ramirez (Daniel), Amy Medrano (Henry), AJ Ledesma, 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and siblings; Ann Cuellar (Mayo), Velia Castillo (Manuel) and Ruben Banda (Isabel).

Rob retired from the Texas Department of Transportation after 31 years of service. Upon retiring, he discovered a new passion as a comedy defensive driving instructor/trainer. He loved meeting new people, telling a great joke, watching the Longhorns, playing the trumpet, gardening, driving his convertible and traveling with his beautiful wife.

Robert was truly one-of-kind, and will be missed by all.

Celebration of Life at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 25, at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street (South). Memorial / Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 26, at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
