Steve Gomez - Class Of 1995 VIEW PROFILE

Steve Gomez, age 44, passed away January 25, 2021. He was born in Austin, Texas on April 9, 1976. Steve has been a resident of Pflugerville for the past 13 years.

He was an employee at the state comptroller's office for the past 23 years; he loved his job and was a hard worker and always had a smile on his face and positive attitude about everything even when it came to his health condition.

Steve was a five year 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with his brother knights for fundraisers and volunteering at church.

He was a baseball and fast pitch softball player. When he had a son, he put his skills to use and coached his son in baseball. He then formed a team with friends and their sons and little did he know he then had a "baseball family." He touched many lives including the young boys that have grown into men now and the entire baseball community. He enjoyed BBQ for friends and family and watching his favorite teams: The UT Longhorns, The Dallas Cowboys and The New York Yankees.

He was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather and will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Pauletta Gomez; daughter, Gabby Gomez and her husband, Nick Perez; son, Steven Gomez; his mom, Linda Gomez; his father, Roy Gomez; brothers, Chris Gomez and his wife, Jennifer, Renaldo Gomez and his wife, Amanda, and Gabriel Gomez; grandkids, Zayden and Zoey Perez and many nieces and nephews.
