Linda Guzman Galvan

Linda Guzman Galvan, 67, of Austin went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, December 24th, 2018. Known for her generosity Linda was a devoted family woman who was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

She was born to Trinidad and Eristeo Guzman on March 27, 1951, in Austin, TX. Linda married Gilbert Galvan in 1970 and they lived together in Austin for 30 years before moving to Buda. Linda is survived by Gilbert and their four children: Gabriel Galvan and spouse Christie; Nicole Galvan-Martinez and spouse Alejandro; Paul Galvan and spouse Jessica; and James Galvan and spouse Veronica. Linda was an affectionate and giving Grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Stella Torres, Patricia Rivera, Mary Anne Espinoza, Bertha Lugo, and Esther Guzman as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Trinidad and Eristeo Guzman, brother Abelardo Guzman and sister Christina Nanyes.

A special thanks to Dr. Williams-Brown, Dr. Mills, the entire staff of the Seton Oncology department and to the Seton ICU nurses. Your care and concern will always be remembered. Thank you to Austin Hospice's Christopher House for their kindness and support.

A viewing service will be held Friday, December 28th, 5-8 pm at Harrell Funeral Home in Kyle. A Celebration of Linda's life will be held Saturday, December 29th, 10 am at Christian Life Center, 4700 West Gate Blvd followed by burial at Cook Walden Cemetery Pflugerville.
