Mario Baldazo, age 50, of Austin, passed away Friday, April 16, 2004. Mario was a dedicated employee with the United States Postal Service for over 25 years. He honorably served his country as a member of the United States National Guard. Mario loved all his family, friends and his little dog Sandy. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, and uncle. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by his parents, Perfecto and Eliodora Baldazo; his sister, Yolanda Briones and husband Leonard; nieces, Angela and Lori Briones. Serving as Pallbearers are Jose Martinez, Robert Ledesma, Melecio Salazar, Jr., Ruben Banda, Eddie Sanchez, Jr., and Robert Hernandez. Honorary Pallbearers are Jessie Baldazo and Michael Baldoza. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, April 19 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. The Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at St. Julia Catholic Church, 900 E. Tillery St., Austin, TX, with Monsignor Lonnie Reyes as celebrant.
