Danny Aaron Jones

(January 29, 1952 -  July 22, 2022)

Danny "Dan" Jones, 70, passed away on July 22, 2022, at his home. He was born January 29, 1952, in Austin, Texas to Harvey and Adelle Jones.

He was a 1970 graduate of Albert S. Johnston High School. He married Marsha Davenport on May 1, 1976.

He began working in 1984 at Austex Towing as a Tow Truck Operator displaying his love for cars and helping anyone that needed it. He truly lived life to the fullest whether it was at a drag strip or sitting in a deer blind. He loved everyone around him, especially his family and always struck up a conversation, regardless of if he knew you or not.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha Jones; daughters, Amanda, and Amy Jones; grandchildren, Noah Lozano, and Harper Jones. He is also survived by his siblings, Katherine Urbanek; Ron Jones and wife Sue; Harve Retta Hughes; Linda Clevenger and husband Don. He also has numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Von Quintus, Jimmy Barnard, Jeffrey Barnard, Jeffrey Sumner, Bo Davenport, Paul Ryan Manchaca, Duane Johnson, and Blake Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Curtis Delancy, Manny Manchaca, Lonnie Sumner, David Wallace, Mike Stubblefield, and Terry Hoefling.

Visitation will be Monday, August 1st from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Beck Funeral Home located at 4765 Priem Ln. Pflugerville, TX 78660.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 2nd from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Beck Funeral Home with the graveside service starting at 1:00 pm in Bertram, TX at Bear Creek Cemetery, Burnet County.
