Rudy  was born on February 4th, 1954and passed away on November 12th, 2009at the age of 55.

He is survived by his wife Lupita Barrera; mother Minnie Barrera; sisters Yolanda, Bea; brothers Milton, David and Bobby; children Rudy Barrera III, Derek, Charles, Michelle, Rowena, Natalie and Rachelle; 16 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Rudy Barrera Sr. Recitation of Holy Rosary 4:00 p.m., Sunday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Monday at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
