Edgar Lloyd Bruner III, age 66, son of Doris J. Arnold and the late Edgar L. Bruner III, was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on June 19, 1954. At a young age, Edgar and his mother moved to Austin, Texas where he continued to live until his death on August 26, 2020. He was the oldest of three children, and enjoyed being the big brother. “JrBoy” as he was commonly called, attended and graduated from Johnston High School. He loved sports, especially football and basketball. His favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. When his nephews were younger, he made sure to attend their games. Edgar worked for McNeil Pharmaceuticals, but later became interested in trucking. He received his CDL license and became a professional truck driver. He loved driving, and it allowed him to travel all over the country. He was a driver until he became ill. Edgar gave his life to Christ, and was a member at Greater Mount Zion church.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Doris J Arnold, and sister, Vicki N. Arnold, both of Austin, TX. Also, his brother, Stefan M. Arnold Sr (Twana) of Pflugerville, TX, and a special friend, Corliss Dillard, of Austin, TX. He leaves two nephews, Philip Simmons (Alicia) of Round Rock, TX , Stefan M Arnold Jr of Austin, TX, three aunts, Earcell Pittman of Kansas City, MO, Priscilla Liddell (Richard) of Spencer, OK, Patricia Terrell, of Oklahoma City, OK, a host of great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
