Our beloved Mary Sylvia Vital, age 64, resident of Austin, Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, June 29, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father Raul Castro and her beloved Aunt Trinidad Berron Gil. Mary is survived by her husband of 37 years Pedro M. Vital; her daughters, Jessica Vargas (Luis Perez), Sara Vital-Adame (Omar Adame), and Maria Vital (Walter Castro); her mother Mary Berron Gonzales; grandchildren: Cassandra Guzman, Clarissa Guzman, Gizelle Perez, Luis Perez Jr., Omar Adame Jr., Walter Castro Jr., and Natalia Castro; siblings Ignacio Castro, Raul Castro, Alfred Castro, Refugio Castro, Elizabeth Bocanegra, and Jesse (Margarita) Castro; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez; Austin, Texas 78702. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday July 5, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
