Curtis Jackson - Class Of 1972 VIEW PROFILE

Curtis Jackson Jr. entered this world on July 21, 1954, in Austin, Texas, the beloved son of Curtis Jackson Sr. and Beulah B. Jackson. Affectionately known as "Curtis Jr.," he completed his education at Johnston High School in 1972. His journey of faith began in 1963 when he accepted Christ under the leadership of Rev. M. C. Arnold at the 19th Street Baptist Church. He actively contributed to the ministry, finding peace and inspiration in the studying the word of God. In 1976, Curtis Jr. united in marriage with his high school sweetheart, Jacqulyn Lee, and together they were blessed with two daughters, Jaimee Louise Lee and Janelle LeeAnn Jackson. Throughout his life, Curtis Jr. was a dedicated and reliable worker. He served with diligence in the janitorial services profession at the Austin Independent School District until an injury to his hands which required him to redirect his path. As a lover of music, he was particularly fond of the Isley Brothers. Curtis Jr. also had passion for football, with the Dallas Cowboys holding a special place in his heart. Yet above all, he cherished moments spent with his family, always wanting to be the sharpest dressed in the room. In the face of life's trials, Curtis Jr. found unwavering support and affection from his mother, who tirelessly ensured his well-being, meeting his every need with love and prayer. Remembered for his devotion to family, unwavering faith, sharp wit, and radiant smile, Curtis Jr. leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. He was a cherished son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, and friend. Curtis Jr. is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Jackson Sr., and his brother, Vincent Charles Jackson. He is survived by his mother, Beulah B. Jackson, his sister, Sheri Ann Marshall (Dwain), his daughters, Jaimee and Janelle, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, all of whom will hold him dear in their memories.
