Retired Senior Police Officer Ronnie Moore passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013.
He was born February 8, 1953. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Officer Moore joined Police Academy Class #90 on January 26, 1980. During his career, he served in the Southwest Division, Southeast Division, Emergency Communications Division and the Central Division. He retired on February 25, 2006, while last assigned to the South Central Division.

Officer Moore is survived by his wife, Mary Moore; twin-brother, Retired Senior Police Officer Donnie Moore, who retired in 2000; sons, Airport Security Officer Elliot Martin Guidry assigned to the Airport/IAH, Police Officer Dominique C. Moore assigned to the South Central Division and Marcellus Moore; daughters, Whitney Moore and Karen Cooper, and daughter-in-law, Police Officer Terhea L. McElroy-Moore assigned to the Southeast Division.

Funeral services will be held at The Church at Bethel's Family, 12660 Sandpiper, Houston, Texas 77035, on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at 10:00 a.m.

Visitation will be held before the service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Ronnie lived to be 60 years, 5 months and 22 days old.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Austin, Texas.
