
James Rowe Obituary
James Clyde Rowe James Clyde Rowe was born January 8, 1952 to Isom and Dorothy N. Rowe in Austin, Texas. He attended the Austin public school, graduating from A. S. Johnston High School. After graduation he was hired by the Austin American Statesman. He was a dedicated and faithful worker at the Statesman for over forty years. James was an avid Texas Longhorn and Dallas Cowboy fan. If the Horns or the Boys were winning he was happy. If they were losing he was not a happy camper. A kind hearted, generous and good spirited person, he would help anyone in distress. James was preceded in death by his parents Isom and Dorothy N. Rowe, two brothers Algie and Richard Rowe. Remaining to cherish his memory are two sisters Joann Lewis and Joyce Rowe of Austin, Texas five brothers Odell, Curtis and Wayne Rowe all of Austin, Texas. Johnny Rowe and Clifton Griffin of Kyle, Texas. Three aunts Daisy Ates and Ola M. Mayberry and husband Tommy of Austin, Texas, Lola M. Waller of Denver, Colorado. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives, best friend Paul Darby Jr. Funeral will be held on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the E. M Frnaklin Chapel at 1812 E. M. Franklin Ave, interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
