Our beloved Joseph Surita, age 69, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday, October 18, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Surita, Sr. and his brothers, Ramon Surita, Jr. and Martin Surita. Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Mary Gil Surita; his mother, Pauline Surita; his children, April Gil, Isreal Surita, Sr. (Angelica), and James Surita; his grandchildren, Steven Cunningham, Kacie Cox, Kaylie Cox, Andreanna Harris, Audreanna Wilson, Isabell Surita, Isreal Surita II, and Isaiah Surita; his siblings, Benito Surita (Becky) and Josephine Surita, and many nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 with Recitation of Holy Rosary and Scripture Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery, Cadillac Ln., Austin, Texas. Services will be live-streamed to allow those unable to attend to participate.
